AKA Keeps Coming

The reach of South African hip hop has reached beyond the East and Western coast of their continent! Take a look at what milestone AKA  has just reached!

Throughout the years, South African artists have been raising eyebrows all over the world. Now, the well known and fast rising star known as AKA is making moves once again. Over the past few weeks rumors have been surfacing about  the artist starting to make waves in the educational and community fields in South Africa and they have indeed been proven true.

A few weeks ago the South African native announced that he will be launching the AKA Scholarship Program which is reinforced by the SAE Institute and Bridges for Music. The program overall received 1,300 applications in the first 8 hours and soon after was launched! AkA has been known for his voice on helping younger musicians, who may not be as fortunate as others, get the right skills, teaching and mentoring they need  to star their career. The man, the myth, and soon to be legend has joined the likes of Black Cofee, Hugh Masekela, and Young Guru in the prestigious Hall of Fame Wall of the SAE Institute Scholarship Patrons and will for sure will be making waves for years to come.
