Ultra South Africa: Comes Back In a Fury

Ultra South Africa's Fifth Year Anniversary One for the Books...

The music event that is shared between two giants of South Africa, Cape Town and Johannesburg, has set the precident for years to come through its latest edition of Ultra South Africa! This past weekend (Feb 24 and 25 2017) turned into one of the biggest parties world wide and it took place in beloved South Africa...

This year Cape Town opened up its doors once again to the South African installment of one of the biggest music festivals of our time. Ultra Entertainment, most usually known for its festivals in America such as Ultra Music Festival in Miami, made its way across the ocean to put on a show. For the first time since its inception, the festival has moved off the ostrich farm on the outskirts of town and was placed in the heart of the city in Cape Town Stadium and housed three stages named "the Resistence, Main Stage and Bridges for Music".

Every year this festival brings forth some of the most prominant acts in the electronic music indursty. From big names such as David Guetta, Dash Berlin, DJ Snake and the world's Newest #1 DJ Martin Garrix, to local legends like Black Coffee and Siphe Fassie! Even though they held this festival during a busy time of the year, with EDC Mexico also needing headliners (another large festival production world wide), Ultra South Africa was still able to turn out over 30 prominant stage acts as well as over 50,000 festival goers between both locations!
